Google to penalise websites that are not mobile friendly from 21st April 2015
When it comes to search on mobile devices, users should get the most relevant and timely results. Google have announced that as of the 21st April, they will be expanding their use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal.
What does this mean?
• More mobile-friendly websites in search results
• More relevant app content in search results
This will have a significant impact on how people find you using Google search. If a user is on a mobile device, the most relevant content that is optimized for their device will now be the easiest the find.
