Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is a protocol for website security. It protects online communication and transactions using the strongest encryption available. An SSL certificate validates the identity of your website, rather like a passport. Once activated it displays a padlock icon and https:// in your URL . These trust indicators let your customers know that your site is genuine, protected, and private.

You can transfer your domains to us at any time, very easily. Please note that the content of your domain, your databases and your e-mail accounts will not be transferred. For this reason we recommend to prepare the transfer of your domain in advance. Make a backup with your current provider.

If you do not know how to do this, please request access data for the control panel or the FTP account (address, user, password) and we will assist you with this.

  1. Check email address
Check with your current provider that your email address is up to date. We will send you an email to approve the transfer of the domain. (Provisionally, you can change the email address of the Owner and Admin to ours.)
  2. Turn off the domain lock and set up your whois as a public
Disable the domain lock and publish your whois data to your current provider. If your provider does not support this feature, you can skip this point.
  3. Request authorization code
Request the authorization code (authcode) from your current provider.

Alternatively, to facilitate the process, simply send us your account information (provider link, user name and password) of your current provider and we can assist you.

Buy a domain is like renting a house or office, typically you registered the domain name for a period of time, which is normally be between 1 and 10 years (may vary depending on the type of domain), and after that time you have the chance to renew it again.

If you decide that you no longer want it or leave it to expire, there is still a period of time where you still have the option to recover it before it is auctioned publicly.

Upon termination of the domain name, it will go into what is called the "Renewal Grace Period". This typically lasts 10-30 days depending on the domain. This is a lock to prevent someone else from buying it again.

Meanwhile, the domain can be recovered, but normally with additional charges. If the domain is not renewed during the grace period will go public auction or will become available for purchase by anyone.

For this reason, it is recommend that you renew your domains before the expiration date, to avoid any interruption in related services (email, etc.), as well as avoid higher recovery cost by the customer.
